QWeb - Web Application Framework

The main emphasis of Qweb is to provide a set of libraries that make developing for PC and mobile web sites as simple as possible. QWeb is an extension to QAM, our open source application framework.

• A web, template and form framework

• A system for finding the capabilities of mobile devices, capable of producing a “best guess” for newer terminals until they are entered into the database

• A content delivery system that reads content from multiple sources (files, databases, web services) and customizes it on the fly for the end user’s terminal

• A unique response scheme which transparently deals of serving content from alternative links when bandwidth becomes expensive.

• Automated testing tools for web servers and applications running on them

• Two unit testing libraries for client-side Javascript, one running on the server (for fully automated tests) and one in the browser (for browser-compatibility and visual tests)

• Reporting system for site metrics including visits through viral marketing campaigns
